• The FLACC and Patriot Bank Minnesota present the FLACC 21st Annual Golf Tournament on August 4, 2008.  You can get involved in this fun filled event by:
 1. Being a Tournament Sponsor for $100 you are promoted via:
  program brochure
  registration form
  table tents
  monthly newsletter
  listed on banners displayed at the tournament
  announced throughout the dinner festivities
  on the Chamber’s website: www.flacc.org
 2. Golfing in this year’s event:
  a.Early Bird Discount Deadline is July 25, 2008. Registration form is linked to this message. Limited space available for golfers, there are currently 112 golfers signed up! SIGN UP TODAY!
 3. Donating a raffle prize or monetary donation
 4. Donating a registration prize – each golfer receives a soft sided six pack cooler stuffed full of goodies
 5. Purchasing a $5.00 raffle ticket
  a.The FLACC is selling $5.00 Golf Tournament Raffle Tickets. For $5.00 you have the chance to win an HD Flat Screen TV, $1,000 Cash and $500 Cash, just to name the top prizes. Better yet, if every Chamber Member Business participated by buying or selling just 3 raffle tickets, all 1000 tickets would be sold out. Please support the Chamber by buying or selling 3 raffle tickets. Tickets available TODAY at the Chamber Office.

•Please look over your business listing on FLACC’s  website www.flacc.org .  Every business gets a FREE Business Description as well as up to 5 Business Categories to be listed under.  If you would like to add either a business description or more business categories to your business listing, please email details to andrea@flacc.org. The business description is limited to 200 characters(individual letters).

•BUSINESS EDUCATION DAY is right around the corner! Be part of a 35+ year tradition on Friday, August 15, 2008! This is your opportunity to welcome teachers new to ISD #831, St. Peters Catholic School, Lakes International Language Academy, North Lakes Charter Academy, and Maranatha School, meet with school administrators, and network with other Chamber members. This event is open only to Chamber member businesses and is a perk of membership. You are also invited to sponsor a new teacher(s) as a special “welcome” to our community. We are also looking for donations for DOOR PRIZES, please drop off to the Chamber Office by August 1, 2008 or if you would like Chamber staff to pick up, please call 651-464-3200 to make arrangements. •Member Sponsorship Opportunity. Your Chamber’s fall Business After Hours trade show and networking event will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Progress Center from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.  The FLACC has been partnering with the following chambers to bring this exciting opportunity to our members:  Burnsville, Midway, Dakota County Regional, Saint Paul Area, Twin Cities North, TwinWest and Woodbury, this is the largest Business After Hours of the year.  Business After Hours provides the best in business-to-business networking, business displays, great food and much more.  The event is free to attend and typically attracts over 400 business leaders from the Metro Area.

•LOOKING FOR FUN PEOPLE WITH FUN IDEAS!!!   The Programs and Activities Committee is looking for more people to help plan membership meetings, power progressive lunches, and every other event that the Chamber puts on. The committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at a Chamber Member Restaurant.  If you enjoy planning events, please email colleen@flacc.org right away!
